Gateway to Gigha signage installation

The Isle of Gigha Heritage Trust seeks the services of a contractor to install up to 19 fingerpost signs at key junctions on the new Gateway to Gigha path network. The Fingerposts (with one-three blades) will be brown recycled plastic, 3000 x 100 x 100mm, and will be required to be sunk to 900mm below ground, secured in place with postcrete and stone. Fingerposts are supplied by the Trust and will be available for collection at a named site on the island. Postcrete and any other materials to be supplied by contractor.

There may, in addition, be an opportunity for the contractor to install 10 further items of signage in the form of lectern-style ‘wayfinders’, also brown recycled plastic, 1500 x 100 x 100, sunk to depth 500mm and similarly secured.

Please contact Craig Whyte, the Gateway to Gigha Project Manager, on craig@gigha.org.uk or 0755 469 2799 for more information.

The Gateway to Gigha project is supported by the Low Carbon Travel and Transport Challenge Fund and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
