A walk in the gardens December 2006
This will be my last monthly report for 2006 and what a month it
has been: Wind, rain and more wind and more rain!!
Christmas day was such a dreary day that I didn’t take any
photos. The one photo I did take in December was a week earlier
on the 17th of Anoptera glandulosa. This plant was on the path parallel
to the main road between the green drive and the green walk though
there is another plant in Colin’s garden.
The reason for going to the gardens on Christmas day, apart from
walking off Christmas lunch, was to make a count of plants flowering.
I didn’t make a complete survey but I covered a fair bit of
the gardens so here is the list.
